Jesse, a young muskox born in April of 2008, was abandoned by her mother shortly after birth. Instead, she was raised and bottle-fed by our veterinarian, Dr. Maria Hallock. In an unusual situation, she was socialized with a baby mountain goat, also abandoned by its mother. Jesse has grown considerably and is playful and healthy. She can now be seen living happily with our muskoxen herd.
