Animal Care Camp (ages 6-8)
June 17 - 21, July 15 - 19, August 12 - 16

Calling all budding veterinarians, zoologists and animal keepers! Delve into the world of animals to find out when and why wildlife might need our help. Campers assist with animal feedings, check out x-rays from the Preserve’s clinic, and test their mettle during Predator-Prey. There is minimal to no direct contact with animals. Check out photos from last year.

Wilderness Skills I (ages 6-8)
June 24 - 28, July 22 - 26

Sharpen your senses exploring the Wildlife Preserve! Campers grow comfortable in nature as they learn to understand the land and its wildlife. We’ll practice skills like tracking, shelter-building and fire-making. End the week by testing your skills in a team challenge! Check out photos from last year.

Hidden Worlds (ages 6-8) *NEW*
July 2 - 5**, July 29 - Aug 2

Shrink down to the size of an ant and discover the secret superpowers of creepy crawlies. Explore feats of extreme strength and spidey senses from spineless creatures. Campers go on insect quests & pond explorations to discover the world beneath their feet at the Wildlife Preserve. Then, think larger to uncover the stories hiding in plain sight like what animals tell us through their body language. Go behind the scenes and help care for the Preserve’s living collection.

Nature Detectives (ages 6-8) *NEW*
July 8 - 12, August 5 - 9

Who made those tracks on the trail? What stories does the forest tell? Where do moose spend the summer? Why do animals make noise? How does the Rehabilitation Centre help injured wildlife? Discover the stories behind these questions (and more) using tracks and other clues critters leave behind...and yes, sometimes that means poop! Campers will use curiosity and teamwork to guide their exploration and hone their sensory skills.

Get your feet wet exploring life in the water, and discover stories hiding in plain sight through group games and activities.
