Parking
Well-marked, convenient visitor parking is located at the entrance of the property. Commercial bus and recreational vehicle parking spots are provided close to the log reception building.
Log Reception Building
As you arrive, please enter the log reception building. Displays inside the building introduce local northern flora and fauna. Friendly interpreters will help orientate you.
Amenities
Picnic tables and benches are provided for visitors at various spots along the walking trails. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch. Outhouses are available at the main entrance, and are also located on the trails in summer.
Animal Care
Animals feeding stations centrally located in each enclosure. During feeding, animals gather in these areas, increasing their visibility to visitors. Your tour may or may not coincide with the feeding schedules.
Please Note
Dogs and other pets are NOT permitted on the Yukon Wildlife Preserve grounds. This is a measure to control the spread of disease to the wildlife. For the health and safety of the pets, we request that visitors please leave them at home.
